SOC 356 - Database Management for Social Research(2 credits) Prerequisite(s): SOC 354 or equivalent, or permission of instructor. Develop skills to access and manipulate machine-readable data files for social-science research, such as data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the General Social Survey. The course is a combination of lecture and lab with students learning by doing.
