BIO 812 - Microbial Physiology

Prerequisite(s): BIO 416 and BIO 504/BIO 704, or equivalents. Microbial growth and reproduction considered at the molecular level; discussions of structure, growth kinetics, synthesis of DNA, RNA, and protein, regulation of metabolism, and other biological molecules; physiology; metabolic pathways of bacteria, fungi, and protozoans.
