ANT 314 - Nutritional Anthropology[3 credit(s)] This course explores biocultural variation in human nutrition, including how evolutionary, biological, ecological, and sociocultural factors shape contemporary variation in human diets. Specific topics include methods in nutritional anthropology, the evolution of human nutritional requirements, historical and contemporary nutrition transitions, socioecological explanations for variation in human diets, and origin and consequences of under- and over-nutrition globally.
