MTX 424 - Professional Issues in Music Therapy

Prerequisites: Successful completion of MUS/MTX 290, MUS/MTX 391, and MUS/MTX 392. In this course, students will learn about professional advocacy in music therapy, governmental and professional policies related to music therapy, proposal development for new music therapy services, music therapy ethics, how to find a job in music therapy, and professional wellness. Music therapy majors must earn at least a “B-” for this course to count toward the music therapy bachelor’s degree.
