HSC 410 - Evidence Based Practice[3 credit(s)] Prerequisites: Gen Ed Eng/Comp. MTH/STA 147 or STA 145, MTH/STA 347, PSY 217, PSY 317 or PSY 311, Senior standing or permission of the instructor. Students will gain a beginning understanding of evidence-based practice (EBP) and how it is used in health sciences. Advantages and disadvantages of the EBP approach to intervention are discussed, and students will learn how to identify and analyze relevant evidence to address specific health science issues.
