Description

Nonprofit Administration majors develop the leadership skills necessary to create positive social change. Students learn strategies for the analysis of complex issues affecting nonprofit organizations, along with tools to engage and manage volunteers. Nonprofit Administration majors enhance problem-solving skills and learn effective management concepts which can be applied to the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

What careers can this major prepare you for?

Graduates hold managerial and administrative roles nonprofit organizations, public sector agencies, and private companies. You may go on to hold positions including: Community Engagement Manager, Communications Officer, Development Professional, Director of Administration, Diversity Management, Executive Director, Grant Administrator, Grant Manager, Grant Writer, Healthcare, Human Services, Marketing Manager, Nonprofit Management, Program Specialist, Public Service, Social Services, Volunteer Coordinator.
