ART 411 - Advanced Drawing

Prerequisite: ART 311. Advanced picture-making with drawing media. Students will be asked to create drawings that deal more directly with content, composition, and design. Improvement of technical skills will also be an ongoing goal. Further advanced investigation of concepts such as contour, gesture, value, texture, proportion, and perspective will be emphasized. Non-representational approaches may also be further explored. May be repeated once for credit.
