EVS 454 - Conservation Biology[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: BIO 304. This course will examine the causes and scientific responses to the current worldwide crisis of declining biodiversity. Scientific principles underlying conservation biology are emphasized, but students also will explore the role that culture, societal values, politics, and economics play in conservation issues.
