MET 330 - Advanced Dynamics & Vibrations[3 credit(s)] Prerequisites: associate-degree-level calculus and statics, or MTH 149 or equivalent and MET 201 or equivalent. Displacement, velocity and acceleration of particles and rigid bodies with combined translation and rotation. Reaction and inertia forces and mass and polar moments of inertia. Analysis by equations of motion, force-acceleration, work-energy, and impulse-momentum. Conservative and non-conservative forces and moments. Free and forced vibrations, natural frequency, and fundamentals of damping and vibration isolation.
