PSY 487 - Brain and Cognition[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: PSY 101. Closed to freshmen and non-degree students. Cognitive neuropsychology is the study of cognitive processes as revealed by their disruption due to brain damage, and by modern techniques of brain investigation. The course presents current topics in cognitive neuropsychology, including units on basic brain anatomy and functioning, perceptual and attentional processes, language, and memory.
