ESE 402 - Introduction to Individuals With Mild & Moderate Disabilities[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite or corequisite: EDB 241, EDB 242, ESE 400. Minimum GPA of 2.75. Must be admitted to the college as a declared major or minor. History, theoretical foundations, and practices related to the social, emotional, and learning characteristics of individuals with mild/moderate disabilities. Includes presentations of diagnostic approaches and educational and social policies relative to these exceptionalities. Required for licensure as an Intervention Specialist for Students with Mild/Moderate Educational Needs.
