FIN 461 - Bank Management[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: FIN 351; must have at least junior standing and be a declared major in the College of Business to be eligible for this course. A study of management of bank funds and the organization and structure of the commercial banking industry. Topics include the management of liquidity, investments, loans, liabilities, and capital; the impact of bank regulatory agencies and the changes in money and capital market conditions on the management of bank funds; evaluation of the performance of bank holding companies; and international banking.
