FRN 345 - Transitions in France[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: Gen Ed Eng/Comp, FRN 301 and sophomore standing or permission of instructor. This course is a study of the social, political, economic and cultural history of France from the 1750s to the 1930s. Beginning with the origins of the French Revolution leading to the First Republic, focus will be on the major historical and cultural changes that shaped the social and political structures of France today.
