HED 460 - Coordinated School Health Program[4 credit(s)] Prerequisites: Gen Ed Eng/Comp, must have at least sophomore standing, and a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher, to be eligible for this course. Designed to study the basic principles and practices underlying the organization and administration of a coordinated school health program. Involves an evaluation of the students’ chosen school system in order to compare practice with theory. The role of the school health program in relationship to the school, community, and the family will be explored.
