UST 458 - Urban Policy[3 credit(s)] Pre-req: Gen Ed Eng/Comp. Examines the process of public policy formation including internal and external influences that may affect policy outcomes. Study of urban public policy including government institutions and the policy-making process; concepts and methods of policy analysis; and decision-making regarding public policies at the local state and national level, specifically as they relate to urban areas. Review of healthcare, welfare, social security, education delivery and other urban policies.
