SPN 466 - Silver & Gold[3 credit(s)] Prerequisites: Gen Ed Eng/Comp, SPN 302 & 373, or permission of instructor. This course introduces students to two of the most fertile periods in Spanish literary history, the Golden Age (“Siglo de Oro”) and the Silver Age (“Edad de Plata”), and focuses on major social, religious, and philosophical themes, in addition to issues of canonization in literary history.
