ECN 428 - Applied Economic Analysis[3 credit(s)] Prerequisites: ECN 322 or equivalent, senior standing. The aim of this course is to provide students with hands on experience working with economic data. Students will learn how to prepare data for analysis in addition to perform well thought out empirical analysis grounded in economic theory. Students will also gain experience in presenting results both orally and in writing. The course is designed to help develop the skills that are desired by employers in both the private and public sectors and will also serve as a solid foundation for writing an empirical thesis should the student chose to pursue graduate study in economics.
