BUS 467 - Commercial Real Estate Analysis

Prerequisites: Must have at least junior standing and have completed ENG 101, ENG 102, MTH 148, and MTH 149. This course examines how an investment in real estate can be a major factor in wealth accumulation and how the methods for financing real estate can impact that investment. It will also illustrate how investing in proper real estate management affects future profitability and how maintenance and tenant management are integral to enhance that profitability. This course includes a discussion of real estate financing, income-producing properties, construction financing for commercial properties, and analyzing properties to make sound leasing decisions.
