To satisfy the requirements of the Psychology minor, a student must complete a minimum of 21 credit hours of psychology courses.
For a course to count toward the minor, a grade of at least C must be earned.
The courses for the minor must include at least:
(a) PSY 101 - Introduction to Psychology ;
(b) PSY 312 - Research Methods ;
(c) at least one course from each of three different Core areas (Psychological Health, Social/Personality, Perception and Cognition, and Neuroscience; see Psychology, B.A. ); and
(d) sufficient additional psychology credit hours to total 21 credit hours, of which no more than 3 credit hours may be from lower division courses. Nine credit hours of the minor must be from Core areas.
