Biomedical Engineering, Accelerated 5-Year Program, B.ChE/MS BME

The accelerated program in biomedical engineering enables students to earn both the both the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and the Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at CSU in 5 years. Students are eligible to apply for the program after they have completed 75 credit hours, typically at the end of the junior year (with at least 30 credit hours at CSU), and they have shown appropriate progress in their degree program. Once admitted to the combined program, the student may complete up to twelve (12) credit hours of graduate courses while enrolled in the undergraduate program. Nine (9) of these credits will count towards both the undergraduate and graduate degree requirements.
