Visual Studies Minor

The Visual Studies minor allows students to construct a program that brings together courses from across the Department of Art and Design in order to suit their specific interests.
This minor requires satisfactory completion of the following requirements for a minimum total of 24 credit hours. It is intended for students who are not majors in the Department of Art and Design and is not available to students who are pursuing a B.A. in Art.
Some courses have prerequisites that must be fulfilled prior to registration and some require permission from the Department or instructor. Students should consult with an advisor in the Department to plan their program.

Any four Foundations courses (12 credit hours)
Advanced Coursework (12 credit hours)
Any four courses in Studio Art, Art History, or Design at the 300-400 level, including at least one 400-level course.
