Studio Art Minor

The minor in Studio Art offers a solid foundation in two- and three-dimensional art and elective options that allow students to select two studio disciplines to explore in greater depth.
This minor requires satisfactory completion of the following requirements for a minimum total of 24 credit hours. It is not available to majors concentrating in Studio Art.
Some courses have prerequisites that must be fulfilled prior to registration and some require permission from the Department or instructor. Students should consult with an advisor in the Department to plan their program.

A) Any one Art History course (3 credit hours).
B) Two 100-level Studio Foundations courses (6 credit hours):
C) Any two 200-level Studio Foundations courses (6 credit hours):
D) Any three upper-division Studio Art courses (9 credit hours):
